TO HIRE THE HALL FOR ANY EVENT

Step 1:  Look at the  Floor Plan and decide whether you wish to book the Main Hall, the Committee Room or both. Please note it will open in a new window.

Step 2:  Check the Bookings Calendar  to see if the space is available.

Step 3:  Read the Booking Charges and Conditions of Hire (1).  A deposit is required to secure the booking, details of where to send this will be provided by the Booking Secretary.

Step 4:  Use the Booking Form (2) to make your request.  We will get back to you to confirm availability and hiring within 48 hours. 

NOTE: We do have a license to sell alcohol but for non-committee events this must be applied for as its use is discretionary, and also we make a small charge. If you intend to sell alcohol then complete appendix (3) Alcohol License

Please make contact if you wish to discuss hiring the hall for a special occasion, a business event, or for more than 48 hours, or if you intend to sell alcohol.

Usual booking times:

  • Morning  9.00am – 1.30pm

  • Afternoon 1.30pm – 6.00pm

  • Evening  6.00pm – 10.30pm

  • Extension 10.30pm  - Midnight

PAYMENT & DEPOSITS

1. A deposit of 50% of the hire charge secures the booking and the rest of the hire charge is due 14 days before the event. As soon as your booking is confirmed you will be required to pay the deposit via BACS (cheque is available on request). 

2. There is also a refundable damage limitation payment of £100 for Dances, Discos or Parties serving Alcohol which is required before the event. Please send this payment for the damage limitation fee 14 days before the event takes place.

The damage limitation charge will be returned, providing the hall is left in the same condition as was found, and that our property is not damaged. All chairs and tables must be stored away and the hall cleaned.
